Diversity for the sake of diversity is NOT a good thing. Granted, if a company has a thousand employees, and the only black face in the crowd belongs to the janitor, then there is a problem. But - if the company's demographics perfectly reflect community demographics, then we all know that the company is more absorbed in public relations and catering to special interest groups, than it is in BUSINESS.

I work for a woman. I work with women. Women work for me. I prefer the company of women, truth be told. But - I'm sure as HELL not going to hire a female because she's female. Or black. Or Asian. Or gay. Or whatever. I'm going to hire the MOST QUALIFIED PERSON FOR THE JOB! If that happens to be a straight white male - so be it. If it happens to be a gay Chinese woman, again, so be it.

Screw diversity. It's a waste of my time, waste of your time, and a HUGE waste of company resources.

Load your printer up, select all the emails, and print them off. You'll probably want to position an "in" basket to catch all the sheets in order. Or, maybe thirty "in" baskets, or more. Stack baskets neatly on corner of desk. Job complete.

For shits and giggles, you could load the printer with disappearing ink.

Yeah. Whatever you say. If you don't give a fuck - then no one will. Diversity is code word for "we hate white people", and "we hate men", and "we hate the people who have worked hard to get where they are", and a lot of other things.

Welcome to your Brave New World - I have an idea that you deserve it.

Scientology, huh? Well - WTF not have a few scientologists in government? Do you REALLY think they can fuck things up worse than the runny shit and the lumpy shit candidates I've already referenced?

Western European proof that moderate liberal socialism works? I've not seen that, TBH. What I see happening in Europe, is a steady stream of invaders from totalitarian and theistic countries, slowly displacing Europeans and their silly liberal socialistic ways.

But, you keep telling yourself that your form of socialism and liberalism works. Everyone needs to believe in something. Whatever gets you through the night . . .

My thoughts exactly. I fully expect that getting one of these is going to be a waste of money. But, I'm going to buy a pair of AA sized batteroos, for testing. I want to see for myself if it works. THEN, I'll write a review or ten, on Amazon and other places. If I see a 10% improvement, my review will say so - if I see 800% improvement, or a 0% improvement, my reviews will reflect that.

And, yes, your trailing question is a damned good question. If the battery manufacturers can improve the life of their batteries with this, then WHY NOT build it in? Or - the device manufacturers, for that matter.

Let me ponder that a moment. For the past century, we've basically flipped a coin, and the coin flip decides between runny shit, and lumpy shit. The runny shit party runs things until we get sick of it, and replace it with lumpy shit. When everyone gets fed up with lumpy shit, they go back to the runny shit.

What's wrong with Ron Paul? A different flavor of shit just might be what this country needs. Einstein said that the definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over, expecting different results, right?

So, the country is fucked, and you're dismissive of trying something different?

Yeah - insanity.

Many years ago, I read that the masses couldn't handle the meat and vegetables of politics, so they are fed pablum. Nowadays, pablum would be a tremendous improvement over the steady diet of shit. You should give it a try.

That's all well and good. But, while you're getting an education, you need to learn the facts of life. If you can't understand that, then you cannot claim to be educated at all.

Think "really long run", rather than hard acceleration. As in, a ramp from the bottom of Kilimanjaro to the top. Even IF that long a run can't accelerate the ship to orbital velocity, it won't take very much of a burn to finish the job, will it? Of course, for unmanned launches, they can ram the craft into orbit at any launch speed desired.
