How do you make secure authentication in banks?
You do know people in UK refuse to have ID cards of any kind, therefore in bank a gas bill is considered "identification".
In Finland a (very old) driving licence suffice - the picture usually is so bad as to pass if you look even a bit like.

Banks are not always the culprit.

I once tried DLNA as my blueray player claimed it could do it. What a piece of shit DLNA is, for example two clients won't play same content unless you are lucky (same format content with same settins in the DLNA server). Besides, the implementation was horribly broken.

Now I use Rikomagic as my media player, and have Logitach remote keyboard. The Ricomagic is powered by USB from my amplifier. It also can do whatever Android can, e.g. I have installed some free net-tv applications into it.

One of the things that cause people to curb their drinking is that morning after hangover

No.
If you're an alcoholic,

I think the GPs point was, "if you are not alcoholic". You need to drink quite a lot before you are alcoholic and hangover really does stop, very effectively, your drinking. It is not enough to prevent you from becoming an alcoholic, but it is one deterrent.

Comment Radiated power? (Score 4, Informative) 104

In Europe we limit the maximum radiated power (EIRP). This means you'd have to drop TX power and the directional antenna helps on RX only. Still might be worthwhile.
Although there is ample proof that WiFi don't have health issues, I still want to limit the EIRP. But to what level, I do not know. I think directional antennas currently have too strict a limit - you are not supposed to be standing next to a directional antenna anyway. OTOH people hardly understand what a 20dB antenna does (in TX).

Practical capitalism without fascism is as easy as practical communism without fascism.
In essense, capitalist believes "free market" or competition is best, communist believes a bunch of smart people, i.e. government, deciding for everybody is best and fascist believes an oligarchy he is in is best. All of them are horribly wrong, of course.

Maybe it is kinda "too much" reliance on the constitution? In Europe Quantanamo would not be possible, no matter whether "enemy combatants" are protected by constitution or law or whatnot - it is Just So Badly Against Human Rights that europeans would certainly vote for someone else. Obama would not have gotten second term.

Americans seem to give a fuck for the humans there.
