This redesign is seriously pissing me off, trying to click links in collapsed comments just expands that comment. Clicking again just expands the next higher level comment, and so on and so forth. Then once all the bullshit is done expanding clicking the link does nothing! How the hell does /. fail so hard.

It only took a decade but I finally got mod points again.

So, saw a comment today regarding some people getting 10 mod points instead of the normal 5. Must be nice, I haven't seen any mod points in literally 6+ years. I can pretty much narrow down when they disappeared too, after posting in political articles from a conservative standpoint. Supposedly there's no 'blacklist' but I'm sure it's statistically very very unlikely to go without mod points for so long. Anybody else suffering from an suspiciously odd drought of mod points?

(And yes, I'm not using Wherefore thou art to mean why)

I don't know how many of you have checked your GMail this morning, but having pulled an all-nighter again, I got a rather strange notice in Thunderbird saying my account was not enabled for IMAP, or something to that nature. Upon logging into GMail's web-interface, I noticed in the Settings page "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" has reverted back to "Forwarding and POP" again. Is this permanent, or just a temporary change by Google?

Edit: Strangest one-off bug, signed out, then signed back in again, and the setting is back.

From his insistant trolling, I got proof positive that his attacks on the character of the person he wrongly assumed I was were not an execptional bout of misdirected anger from a human being, but proof positive of a under-bridge dweller, as well a set of data providing a posting pattern for that individual.

By an amazing coincidence, right after that troll started eating the scraps I left for it, I suddenly started getting regular AC trolling.
If I reply to those, the AC troll comes back to check and keeps on trolling... always in the same timeframe as all the trolling from the mensa-assuming moron! What a coinkidink! I mean, he clicked "post as anonymous coward", so I have no way of knowing who wrote those!

Got my car broken into again, almost caught them in the act too. For those keeping score this is B&E #3, and broken window #2 with a bonus completely bent window frame. This time I had my factory radio in, and I guess they didnt want the tape deck since it's still in there. Overall I guess they didn't take anything so that's a plus. Another plus is I dont have a concealed carry license and I dont have a gun by my bed so I couldn't shoot at them as they drove off, because I would of been very so tempted, but then I'd prolly get in trouble for discharging a firearm. Oh well, it's 3:41am and I got classes at 9:30, but stuff like this pisses me off and I need to rant.
