Yes, yes there is. It is called due diligence and intelligent decision making. Unfortunately for Kaiser they never considered the idea that tracking what people were searching for and looking at people clicking links might be a bad idea to share with their optimization partners.
There is no automated tool to prevent this issue...because this is a human stupidity issue. They didn't understand what they were collecting nor where it was going. Which is understandable if you're a nitwit web designer. That is why there is supposed to be intelligent management of both the data itself and the network systems involved.
Their top two executives should spend a year in jail.
A few more instances like this and some of these people might understand accountability.

run0 first made me think of dividing by zero or running null...but I know the real answer is that it is 'run' and 'world emoji'.

See, this way, all the world, and all the bad code in it, will run with global superuser without that pesky 'sudo' command.

run zero is far superior you see - you only need your index fingers. It makes it easier for hunt and peck folks to type. sudo requires four whole fingers and is clearly too big an ask for administrative use.

So when this is peer reviewed. And the experiment repeated. Will it be the 4th time in all of history that it happened for you?
Or just the 2nd time that it was observed directly?

We're already accepting that all rational thought generally believes it happened at least 2 times before. Yet somehow now rationally thinking that it ever happens ever in a more or less permanent manner.

This is a case of "Look at this new discovery I made!!" where in reality the real message is "Look at how fucking stupid we are that we didn't know this happened before."

I'm also wildy astonished at the quantity of people in Barnes and Noble lately. It is FULL of youngsters and nerds making eyes at girls. Doesn't matter what day of the week either. Parking lot is packed every time I drive by. I went on a Friday night and once on a Saturday afternoon recently and it was like going to a high school sporting event.

You're goddamn right movie going is on the down trend. You know why? Becuase I'm a reasonable person and I can't justify spending $45-$50 to sit on my ass for 2 hours and eat popcorn.

I know what popcorn costs.

I'm literally just asking the %@# browser to follow the stated design expectations. Automatically and permanently fixing the 'tab clutter' problem.

They have no rights at all or recourse...this is generally understood when outsourcing to work to subcontracts.

They were fucking morons for going to the city council in the first place. Even more so for saying the word 'google' at any time in the discourse. They work for a sub-par shitstain company, that hires other shitstains, to do shitstain work. As a subcontractor you can be removed without cause, or even for cause - like the cause of "I hate your face".

Crying about your pay and going to city council meetings about it will certainly make a few people hate your face.
