Mobile IPv6 was supposed to be a thing, and was going to be a great tool in the use of predictable IPv6 addresses on portable devices like laptops, but while my Debian kernels still seem to have Mobile IPv6 (mip6) active in them, I can't find any current information on how to actually make use of this.

No, this makes sense. FaceTime has worked well in the past to encourage people to stay within the Apple ecosystem. All their friends use FaceTime, so they can't switch to an Android phone. But now, as people use more and more other videoconferencing solutions because of the pandemic, they might be more open to switching to accommodate that one friend who has an Android phone and can't join in. So here's the solution to make sure they don't switch. That one Android friend can still get in. There's no need to start experimenting with Zoom instead of FaceTime. But they still aren't going to get rid of their iPhone, because they know the experience won't be as good. It's not about attracting new customers. It's about keeping the existing customers.

These things (or other similar ones by other companies) are a godsend, even if they are somewhat overpriced. I must have 30 or 40 of them in my house.

You can also get long power bars with as many as ten outlets that are well spaced - enough to permit use of most wall wart-type plugs without needing these cords.

Why is the average person an idiot (I assume you're referring to players who buy cosmetics in the game).

Are they any worse than a person that pays $50-$100 for a game outright? Sure they don't have to, but it increases their enjoyment of the game and/or supports the company which will likely result in game improvements, or a future version.

There's nothing saying he didn't like his job. In a company of any decent size, there's bound to be people, that offered the right incentives, would share company secrets with a competitor. Sometimes it's an act of revenge for perceived wrong doing, other times it's simply that the incentive is enough to overcome morals.

APU(2) with pfsense is fantastic. Mine runs on a memory card, only down time was before I had it on a UPS. Handlers my 150/150 internet connection and probably 30+ devices at very load load. Click "update" now and then (or cron it) to keep it updated.

Add in pfBlockerNG for some basic blocking of ads/malicious sites as well.
