"While EV drivers are excited by their new stuff, it's the personality "I'm better than you" inferiority factor that turns so many people off."
Again, there are no reports of EV drivers blocking gas stations, or interfering in any way with ICE drivers' enjoyment of their vehicles. I don't know why you think EV drivers are the problem here. ICE drivers are routinely blocking EV charging stations and vandalising EV chargers because they feel threatened in some bizarre way by the very existence of EV drivers.
"On the flip side, people who get new hardware to roll coal are also excited by their new stuff and their trucks, just as you are."
Coal rolling is a revelling in anti-social behaviour. It's not them saying "oh cool look at my gadget", it's them saying "you're a nerd for thinking that there's a climate crisis, so you and the planet can suck my fat one".
"A lot of them are very intelligent"
I see you must have one as family or friend, because their behaviour is utterly indefensible.
"Get the effect, but in a more eco friendly way. Guess what? You'll have fun with them I almost guarantee they'll be impressed and you'll quickly make a connection"
I don't think you understand what you're talking about. Coal rolling is specifically meant to be a refusal to accept that the planet needs to be cared for. It's a middle finger to the entire idea of environment awareness. Eco-friendly coal rolling (if such a fucking retarded thing could even exist) would defeat the very purpose of what they do.
And if you think that I could ever have anything in common with a coal roller, you're wrong. It's a destructive, childish, and irresponsible act. That's like saying if I was on a ship I could make friends with the guy drilling holes in the hull for kicks. No, there's nothing that could make me make friends with that guy. Fuck that guy. Fuck him and his drill. He should be thrown overboard.
"some eco rant"
Wanting to live on a planet capable of sustaining human life is not a "rant".
"I moved to the south 10 years ago"
Ah.
