It's clearly one of those early adopter products, that will run out of steam around the time the big players enter the game. See Rio mp3 player or the pebble smartwatch. Also, as someone already commented: They do come off as pompous.

Nah, it's not uncool to have an iPhone in Europe it's just that more people have Android phones and no one uses iMessage. In fact, iPhone usage seems to be rising again with young Europeans .

Hard to imagine. I've once seen the nuclear waste only produced by medicinal applications of a small country (10 million). Granted there was lots of space wasted as it was collected in barrels filled with concrete - but even then it filled a warehouse. Sure, it's still not a huge mountain, but "an olympic sized swimming pool" seems a little low. Maybe that's enough for all fuel rods of nuclear power plants, but surely not enough for all nuclear waste, right?

Sure, but BMI usually gives you a good average unless you're doing something like heavy bodybuilding (and then you know from your mirror image where that extra weight comes from). All people I know with a BMI over 30 are unhealthy fat and all people I know with a BMI below 20 are mostly skin and bones. Sure not all with a BMI over 30 are clinically obese, and if you're young, you can be quite fit with that weight, but it will catch up with you if you live to be 50.

100 vs. 110 is probably too close to show a lot of significance, but in my personal experience, people with 120 or above are quicker on the uptake, better in pattern matching and in finding new solutions to problems than people with an average IQ of 100 or below.

That one about pattern matching is also my pet theory. I've always said that I'm good at it and according to tests I have an IQ of 145, so no genius but at least above average.

But can you imagine for example a person next to a real person and they feel and look the same? Or imagine a room with closed eyes, open your eyes and be a little disoriented that you are now in a different room?

I defiitely can recall what something looked like, even details - and I could recreate a picture (if I could draw better). But I don‘t see“ it, it‘s a different kind of sensation. When I close my eyes and imagine a red apple, I don‘t see a red Apple in space, but what you see, wehn you close your eyes - a reddish blackness with some color noise. But I can picture/print“ an apple in my mind - it‘s just does not feel remotely the same as if I really saw it an I‘d never confuse those two (which I would require to call it seeing“ something). Like, can people who don‘t have aphasia imagine another person in a room and then have it feel like the real person standing next to it?

They were not good, but compared to the sequel Ttrilogy, they were better. Just compare the lifeless sets on episode 7-9 to the backgrounds full of small little details in 1-3.

We’ll see if Apple is allowed to do this or if it will just take some time to create laws they can’t escape with ther deliquent energy, I’d hope that they’ll pay huge fines for this mockery, but I’d be content if they just don’t get away with it in the end.
