Also note that probably over 150,000 pounds of fuel was spilled so they could land without pranging the bird... not exactly insignificant

The first row of seats ahead of the over wing exits (and possibly forward of the bulkheads also) don't recline for pretty obvious reasons. Can't remember if the seats ahead of the regular doors are the same or not...
I flew on an airline called Allegre (don't appear to exist anymore) once. They had very old 727s that consumed a lot of fuel, so to save weight, they completely removed all the foam cushioning from the seats, leaving only the fabric covering on the bare steel.. Luckily it only lasted two hours,

Hell, since the airlines have started charging extra for exit-row seating (due to extra legroom) I have specifically gone out of my way not to ask for it since I don't find it worth the additional cost to get 3/4" of additional legroom or whatever it amounts to; especially when you then end up in a non-reclining seat.

I do not recall riding on a plane of such a configuration at any point in recent memory. I have been on a few planes with doors over the wings, but those are of course emergency exits. It seems that now the seats in those emergency exit rows are even more uncomfortable than they were before, and we get charged extra for that.
In fact, on those airplanes, you'll find four sets, but usually there are no seats that are very close to either side of them.
I can't tell you the last time I was on a plane with more than four seats per row, when counting both sides of the aisle. I frequently am on planes where the seat-per-row count is

Your 'terrorists' are regular paid mercenaries. Their only agenda is maintaining accounts receivables, just like anybody else. They actually work for the same businesses that want to control your movements. The banks (your bank) are the financiers who then send the money to secret accounts to try to wash the blood off.
