Journal drinkypoo's Journal: So over XFS 1
XFS on ARM has bugs. An XFS filesystem of 1TB or so will take over 1GB memory to simply replay the journal, let alone xfs_repair. And finally, my XFS partition just ate its superblock for the second time while rsyncing its contents to the backup volume, which I have just formatted to ext4. Goodbye, XFS. You're a fuckup.
Thank Goodness (Score:2)
After over an hour of grinding xfs_repair found a backup superblock. testdisk will find them much faster for ext filesystems but that's the only fs it can find them on. (Yes, it would be smarter to save the fsck log. No, I don't do that.)
