  • Military, maybe. Ninjas would have slipped into the jewelry store through an air duct, pilfered the goods while hanging upside down, and then vanished in a puff of smoke.

    I suspect they were pirates, masquerading as ninjas.

  • Is that there was a similar crime against another jewelry store in the area towards the end of last year (IIRC). Wonder if they're going to stay local or hit the road?

    • Well, I was trying to drop a big hint. They had a similar situation in Atlanta some years back, local cops who did burglaries and acted as gang enforcers and hitmen. Went all the way to the top sheriff.
