Hardly. Just competitors for the alpha position. And you're just idolizing them.
Not "eventually". Hamilton the "I love federal government" "left" (no such thing amongst the powerful) won out the minute the document was signed. And long before the civil war was Shay's rebellion, and Washington's call for a stronger national government.
And are you really calling the civil war the *War of Northern Aggression*? I just love how you frame the slavery thing.
