Well, I was only there for the first three months of my life. After that my mom got tired of the cold and moved down south. I grew up in Los Angeles, which according to anybody who's never been is the coolest place on earth. Of course the opinion of the people who know what they're talking about tends to differ a bit. ;)

I saw it in a fold-out birthday card a few years ago. No words, just pictures of the animals... Made me laugh when I got it. ;-)

happy birthday. i'm only about 8 years older than you, but that does make me older than MTV. not only can i remember a time when MTV played music, but i remember when it was brand new. MTV may not have shaped you or me much, but i thought it apropriate since it has shaped a large number of people in our age group.

on the down side, microsoft is about the same age as i am. we're both from 1975.

anyway, hope your day goes well. on my twentieth birthday i was in Luebeck, Germany. that was a good day.
