More compelling evidence of Obama's pathological narcissism.

  • I've been saying this for a while now. Nice to see others pick up on it.
  • Unpossible!

Seriously, are you guys 12 or what? Mind you, I can't complain too much. It's nice to see first time voters get so excited.
    • Sure, probably most politicians are narcissistic to some degree. We're talking about something completely different here, though. All the signs and evidence are there if you look for it. Obama shows at least five of the criteria for pathological narcissism (NPD [healthyplace.com]), and probably more.

Way to overload your phrase with equivocation. As for "some degree", you may be right, but when you're talking the upper reaches, as we are here, narcissistic doesn't even begin to cover it. Either way, it's just sad to see another slashodtter concentrate on political trivialities.

Sad to see it anywhere, but it seems to be the nature [slashdot.org] of the beast.

  • The classic. [youtube.com]

I don't know about the pathological narcissism, though: I see him more as a sort of teacher's pet who for most of his life has been getting way too much attention and accolades for sheer banalities and commonplace. Still does. Although, I admittedly don't have much of a dog in this fight. ;)

If memory serves, Captain Splendid is a Canadian - and it's not stopping him from commenting.
  • Alright! Phrenology's making a comeback!

One possible reason that things aren't going according to plan is that there never was a plan in the first place.
