Both my kids loved em (littlest still does). God I hate that they can't just call things what they really are. The are leaves dammit, LEAVES! LEEEEEAVES!

OBStory: I remember going to the Las Vegas natural history museum (they had cool life-sized animated dinosaurs btw; dunno if they still do) and watching the docent cringe when the group of kids with him said, "Three horn!" when he asked them what kind of dinosaur the triceratops was.

That might be what drives me the most crazy.

Does it count that they started making them when I was a kid, and that I'm sick of little foot? ;-)

It sure does. I watched two gens of nephews and neices watch this stuff. Now my own are just outgrowing...

I cut my teeth on AstroBoy, Stingray and the original Trek. "Longneck" bugs me too.

Of course, I'm still getting used to "Apatosaurus".

For me it was Tom & Jerry, Spacerace, Mighty Mouse and the occasional Star Blazers.

You didn't watch Rocky and Bullwinkle? Or Felix the cat? But the best to me are the pre-war(the big one, dubbaya dubbaya two) and wartime cartoons from Warner Bros and MGM.

I loved Rocky and Bullwinkle. Not so much Felix. Al those war cartoon were cool though.

I miss the George of the Jungle cartoon! And of course Space Ghost and Johnny Quest. I did find the old D&D cartoons the other day; wow they are so awful it hurts.
