  • Ever heard of clickable links? Especially because slashdot inserts spaces in strings that are too long.

    • Conspiracy theory vs. debunking theory.

      My opinion is that the theory (Someone made a lot of money out of 9/11 and got all political power he ever could want) is very compelling but probably a bit short on the corners and needs more review and research. The anti-conspiracy theorists do anything to paint the content in the video as misinformed and of bad quality intelligence, while I think they are mainly being biassed to the idea that the US can not possibly have been betrayed by it's gov't. Both need to be
      • Interesting. I'll have to make time to watch them.
        I really doubt it is true, but the one thing I thought when watching video of Bush being told of the attacks was that his expression of someone not surprised about what was going on, but of someone who had gotten in over his head. That is, to me it looked like Bush knew what was coming down, but when it really happened he was surprised at how 'real' it was.
        Now I'd be really really surprised if that were true, and I have seen no evidence to support it, but

        • Yeah I saw the same bit, where Bush sitting on a modest chair in some class room and a goon walks up to him and tells him. His face goes like... "Oh gosh, they didn't bluff..".. from the movie 9/11

          But there's nothing in that here, what is shown in the video are a whole list of things that were either not disclosed to the public, covered up deliberately, or don't make any sense. It's of course a long stretch from listing peculiarities to accusing a party of some grand scheme, but still, some of it IS quite
