Journal KoriaDesevis's Journal: Song Dedications 9

Let us assume for a moment that you can sing, and you want to sing a special song for your significant other. What song would you select? If you couldn't sing it, what song would you dedicate?

I would select "Every Time You Need Me" by Fragma.

Everytime you need me
You know I'll be there
You know I really care
Say you will
Say you dare

And when a feeling comes around
Let it sparkle and let it shine
Let it lift you off the ground
Make it last, baby make it mine

You are the sun that rises
You are the moon that lights the night
You are what paralyses me

Everytime you need me
You know I will be there
You know I really care
Say you will
Say you dare
Everytime you need me
You know I will be there
A love beyond compare
Say you will
Say you care

Write my name into the sky
And keep the memories in your heart
Let the hours pass us by
I guess that this is a way to start

You are full of surprises
You are a fire burning bright
You are what mesmerises me

Everytime you need me
You know I will be there
You know I really care
Say you will
Say you dare
Everytime you need me
You know I will be there
A love beyond compare
Say you will
Say you care

Say you dare...
Say you dare....
Say you dare.....
No no, no no

Everytime you need me
You know I will be there
You know I really care
Say you will
Say you dare
Everytime you need me
You know I will be there
A love beyond compare
Say you will
Say you care

Ok, this will likely be my last music-related JE for a bit... Time to get on to something else.

  • I will.
    I dare.

    A love beyond compare.
    • I have another song that you might appreciate as well, my dear:

Three times around went our gallant ship,
And three times around went she!
      (That's six!)
I said three times around went our gallant ship,
And she sank to the bottom of the sea!
      (It's about time!)

Oh the ocean's waves will roll!
And the stormy winds will blow!
While we poor sailors go skipping to the top
And the landlubbers lie down below, below, below!
And the landlubbers lie down below!

Not exactly a love song, but I think you can appreci

    • Let me be the first to welcome thee to slashdot. First of all I should let you know the rules.

      Rule number:
#1. no posting naked, unless one posts pictures

#3. When in doubt, blame someone else, but be sure that you have links to back up your claims. Because then they get so busy bashing your sources you can quietly sneak away.

There are more rules but i can't think of them at the moment. punishment for ignoring these fundamental rules is of course severe, and inv
    • I need you for everything you are
      You're my shining star
You light up all I need to see
You guide me on my way

      I love you.

      • If I could spend my life in awe
        Of everything I ever saw
You'd be the one to lift me up
        Higher than I am...

You have lifted me higher that I thought possible.

And I love you in full measure of that, and hope for the future.
  • Because I can't sing at all. (The guitar part, however, I can totally nail.)

Song: My Love I'll Always Show
    Artist: Stryper
Album: The Yellow and Black Attack

Michael Sweet wrote it for his wife, and I'd dedicate it to my wife.

You know, I really love you
your love is beautiful, lasting, and true
I searched for a true love, for such a long long time
Now, my search has ended, yes, cause you are mine

I'll always love you, and I'll always tell you so,
as long as I'm with you, my love I'll always show.

    When

  • You're asking me
    will my love grow....
    I don't know,
    I
    Don't
