I was thinking about bringing a projector and maybe pulling up old stories from over the years. I'm not sure about what metrics I want to use to choose stories. Perhaps number of comments as a first attempt?

  Do it. At least it'll be something to do regardless of how you choose the stories. Perhaps some can be stories related to Houston or submitted by the users attending.

Howdy All, Looking forward on seeing everyone at the event this coming Friday 8pm at Agora. It will be Slashdot's 15th anniversary, so it would be a great opportunity to do something awesome at the event. So it seems we have enough people to do a Freeze Mob at Agora and make a video out of it. I will be bringing my camera, and Slashdot's swag(Thanks Slashdot). Idea: Have several Slashdotters freeze for a minute, while drinking coffee and looking at their screens. You could be reading slashdot on the mob
