Just to be clear, you mean your ISP publishes a reverse DNS entry mapping 111.222.333.444 to 111.222.333.444.static.ISPDOMAIN.COM but lacks a forward A record resolving 111.222.333.444.static.ISPDOMAIN.COM to 111.222.333.444? (It shouldn't matter that 111.222.333.444 doesn't resolve to www.mycompany.com; anyone doing PTR/A matching should do a PTR lookup on the IP address first, then an A lookup on whatever the PTR lookup returned to make sure *those* match)
