Journal: ESPN NFL2K5 = SOL

Bought ESPN NFL2K5 the other day with the hopes that the toughted 'League Play' would make up for the let-down in EA's titles.

Seems as though EA's idea of online football is of a single-game/series 'deathmatch' round kinda mentality. That is not what I was looking for.

Supposedly, NFL2K5 can be played via Live! and supposedly, it has a 'League' mode where up to 32 users can control teams throughout the season, and supposedly you can trade and change rosters. And supposedly it was all going to work. Supposedly.

Seems as though it doesn't. The espnvideogames.com forums are flooded with folks having similar problems trying to get online. Oh well, at least the 1st person playmode is a novelty worth the $20.
