Huh.. Being rural I have designed many things, printed them on one of my printers, and then put it in use. Even outside in Oklahoma summers and winters. Recently even one of my designs failed, after being in use for 2 years, and I just printed it again in 30 minutes and the issue was resolved. Even sliced it differently for some added strength as I have learned so much more in those 2 years.
And most of my printers, are Ender 3 printers in various states of modification.
Recently got into resin printing as well, which opens up some more options.
But, like almost any DIY manufacturing at home, it does take actually learning some skill and how to overcome flaws in the gear you start with.
Oh, and of course you see so many posts from people who are having issues.. As with anything, you will see more traffic of the bad than the good. No need to post every good print to the groups.
