I don't think it is the exact link of what I posted yesterday, but it is the same story. It is an economic indicator of what Warren Buffet thinks about the economy and the dollar. It is a very good clue and clear warning. FDIC deposit "insurance" is only a big bank or a few medium banks away from being busted. After that comes hyperinflationary "coverage" because they will have to just print up dollars, there is no backup reserve anyplace.

The basic idea of the internets is to route around blockages and find the most efficient path. You can do the same with your own personal economy. The less you are tied to the system, the less the collapse of the system will effect you. In this case, the less fiat dollars you sit on, and the less debt that is delineated in FRNs, the less a hyperinflationary gambit by the Fed and various other agencies will weaken your wealth stash. I ain't rich in FRNs, but what I do get gets morphed into practical tangible

Well, ya, but you can scale it to taste. It's all about reducing risk and mitigating in advance, having backups for your necessities should the primary fail, which in this case is reliance on the current banking/FRN/JIT delivery system of modern reality. It doesn't have to be all either/or.
