It's pretty simple. Free speech in any country that signed the 1952 UN Declaration of Human Rights adopted such rights in many laws and regulations (including GDPR for example). The mistake that people make is not realizing free speech is covered in 3 articles. Not 1. The second article is extremely clear about not hurting anyone in any kind of way through free speech. The 3rd article provides balance between the two. 99% when someone shouts something bad and claims he/she has free speech, they only consider the first article. Almost every law/regulation about free speech and privacy created since the 50s is based on these 3 articles/principles.

I can recommend you give Android Firefox another try. Its a completely new browser since a year or so, and with the latest few versions i consider it to be fully finished. It has everything on my wishlist now.. A nice extra would be the built in local/offline translations that the Desktop version already offers. I believe thats in the Nightly already.

Are you actually completely brainless? Dinosaurs came and went during a timespan of 160 million years, that ended 65 million years ago. Since then, we have had several mass extinctions. The few rainforests we have now are part of a completely different ecosystem. You do realize we humans didn't exist in the time of the dinosaurs. We wouldn't even survive, all 8 billion of us, in that time. Why even consider comparing?

Isn't the smartphone business a low margin business? Why focus so much on that, instead of developing higher margin solutions? I would expect a company like Huawei profited much more from its mobile networking solutions, competing and beating Nokia, Ericsson, Siemens in US and Europe before they were kicked out for slightly ambiguous reasons..

Welcome to 2022, Merkel is retired, for a while now. Also, yes, EU leaders have been arrogant and weak and completely neglected Russia and especially it's leadership. Since 2013 this outcome could have been prevented and Putin could have been better managed. Still, nothing gives Putin the right to invade a souverein state just to make his dream of a Sovjet Union 2.0 come true. Nobody wants that not even Kazachstan.

In Amsterdam I get twice those US 5G speed, simply on LTE-A, also known as 4G. 5G allows only more efficiency for the mobile provider to handle more clients per tower. The speeds are simply not higher than LTE-A or 4G. That is just the marketing bullshit. Higher speeds can only come from higher frequencies. Again, you wouldn't need 5G for that. In general you can transmit data faster on higher frequencies. But they can't penetrate buildings etc.

Comment Windows 11 actually WON (Score 1) 58

The results actually show Windows 11 beating Linux distributions by a significant margin. The only exception is an experimental Linux made by Intel purely to demonstrate CPU optimisations. How this article can be interpreting the results in such a dumb way astonishes me. I am no Windows fan, switched to Manjaro a year ago and love it. Never going back to Windows (apart from having to use it for work).
