I just subscribed to /., so I thought I should have a short introduction.

I'm a 13 year old wanna-be hacker. No, not a script kiddie, but a real hacker, reverse-engineering hardware and software and making computers do new and unusal things. My parents are both bona-fide computer nerds, and have always encouraged my interest in computers, math, and science -- as well as art, literature, and sports.

This is extortion, plain and simple. With an IPO around the corner, SCO knows that the mere hint of potential litigation can seriously hurt Google. Darl McBride is no more than a hoodlum. I hope he gets what he deserves, but history has shown that as long as they're incorporated, gangs can do what they please.
