Actually, from what I can remember. Cameron planned this movie once before. At least there were rumors about it at the time.. but eventually these rumors turned into rumors about Dark Angel (which I haven't seen) leading many to believe that Cameron had chickened out of a Gunnm movie and had decided to make a gunnm THEMED tv show instead. I have mixed feelings about the movie actually going through...... we'll see.... at this point I think I'd rather someone less mainstream directed it, because I think its too likely Cameron will try to turn it into something its not just to boost ticket sales.
