If you don't feel that having instant access to pretty much all mainstream music you can think about in a portable device is worth $14/month then spotify isn't for you. Surrendering your bandwidth, well, if you were used to downloading music it's just another way of using that bandwidth. For me Spotify on a computer was an interesting concept and working well, but when I could start use it on my android phone, that's when the potential really became obvious. Community playlists is another thing that works amazingly well with spotify, and it will just get better when the number of users grow. Just go to one of many playlist sites where users publish their playlists, find one you like and click, you're playing the songs on your computer or handset. Revolutionary!
