This is my concern as well. There's a lot of great content out there that uses AI for parody or satire that could get swept up by this.

From the summary:

Instead, YouTube would evaluate each request under its existing privacy policy guidelines to determine whether the content is parody or political critique, which are protected forms of free expression.

So this means you never update the linux kernel your linux distribution is running? Cause that does require a reboot.

Unless you use kexec, or paid a license for an enterprise version of linux that supports rebootless live kernel patching tools from: Oracle Ksplice Uptrack, Canonical Livepatch, Red Hat’s Kpatch, SUSE Kgraft (SLE Live Patching), and KernelCare Enterprise.

But I doubt it.

Then over the past year or so the performance of the Win 10 installation started to degrade; taking literally 10 minutes to boot up and settle down enough to use and freezing up for minutes at a time or having to reboot on occasion. Frustrating.

What storage were you using to boot windows 10 from? Was it a hard drive? And how old was it? Because you clearly left those parts out, after you had switched to a 1 TB SSD, to then praise Ubuntu was booting so much faster. It sounds like you just needed to clone your windows 10 install to the replacement SSD, since your storage clearly was dying.

You can tell if it's a debit or credit card by submitting the first 4-9 digits: https://stackoverflow.com/ques...

Yes, it is possible. You need to get a list of BIN (Bank Identification Numbers) which correlate to card type (debit or credit). You then can compare the BIN number, which is the first 4-9 numbers of the card, to that list which will tell you the card type.

Processors like Worldpay and Card Connect make lists like this available. I am unsure if there is a cost or not. I found this free one but you'll need to massage it a bit to consume it programmatically. This API also claims to be free.
