Yeah, I hope these things GPS trackers are cheap - I'll provide local towns service putting GPS on all the police cars and charging for detection. Talk about new markets! Track your girlfriend, track your husband, track your boss! This is GREAT!
If I won, first thing I would do right off the bat would be to uninstall Norton from the laptop. It's second nature to immediately uninstall Norton or McAfee after working as an IT guy for all these years.
I'm a body builder so I hate alcohol (inhibits muscle growth). A nice toke of some green every day keeps me stress free and happy:)
And it's not bad for my body at all.
"The ultimate result could be lower crime rates,
at a reduced cost, and with considerably less inhumanity in the
bargain."
The less humanity, the less likely our government will want to do it. They like being draconian and keeping people fearful of horrible prison. I'd much rather have this GPS system, but knowing how the government stands on many issues such as marijuana, I can't see them actually doing something humane like this for convicts.
Don't punish the speeders! It's not speeders that are the problem, it's people not looking before they go. So many times people just assume the roads are safe and they go without looking both ways. If anything, people going too slow are more of a problem as they block traffic and cause jams.
Also, the roads over in the middle east are horrible! Way too thin!
"Besides Wi-Fi signals, could there possibly be any other logical explanation for kids having more symptoms of illness on school days than at home on weekends or in the summer?"
How about laced weed?
This is by far the dumbest article I have ever read. A bunch of middle school kids who can't do math - what do you expect when you give them calculators and Google to do all their thinking for them? When they have to think for themselves, they won't be able to.
Just another horrible side effect of technology.
Either Steven Hawkings has lost his faith in humanity, or he forgot this MUCH simpler alternative:
cap the population, come up with a clean energy source and learn to eat healthy.
If we can't do those 3 basic things, then moving to space is a child's fantasy.
