Actually, since the root to the word "robot" is actually to do with the slave nature of the devices and not the mechanical nature (the "universal robot" concept was meaning universal slave, which was applied to machines); then the use of the phrase as Evas as Giant Fighting Robots is applicable, seeing as they were built for man to serve man.
