There is even better support for PostgreSQL than there is for Oracle. We (www.postgresql.at) do 24/7 support including bugfixing and feature development. So if you happen to have a problem at 3am you can call us and we will fix it for you - even if it is a bug in PostgreSQL itself. Some very large companies already rely on us.
