born 1948 in berlin-west, i finished school and hurried to leave the walled-in berlin as far as possible, to saarbruecken, at the german-french border, to study economics. I switched to university of goettingen later and finished with a masters degree, which contained lots of computer science, too. i started work as sw-engineer at PR1ME computer, where I stayed for 11 years, then pursued a couple of other jobs, as developer or development manager. right now I am in the middle of where: manager of a small unit developing the repository for a middle-sized sw-company specializing in middleware. I like python a lot but can't use it really good at work.
