The Norwegian EV market share is high among *new* cars. The current trend is that fewer new cars are bought, and more used cars. So you can read it as: government regulations make new ICE cars less attractive, so that customers move towards the used ICE car market. As a side effect, the EV market share grows among new cars, but that doesn't translate 1:1 to EV market growth, and does not indicate at all that customers would prefer EV over ICE. https://bnnbreaking.com/world/...

No, the green party fought for it and it's a green party victory.

There is nothing fraud about that. The population demanded it from the government. We rule our yountry: not you

Current surveys show a majority of Germans in favour of nuclear energy, but as long as the green party (15%) is in government, nothing will happen and fossil fuels will prevail against the will of the people.

The closest coal plant is by air not even 3km. If it goes boom, I have to stay 2 or 3 days in the house because of the smoke. And I certainly will survive.

The problem with coal is not exploding coal plants as you believe, but that their pollution in normal operation kills many more people every year than nuclear ever did. You obviously have no clue about environment and health impact of energy production. Green party member?

BTW: Germany is world record holder in CO2 reduction. Come back when you have done a similar big achievement.

Wrong again. Since 1970 France reduced CO2 to a much lower level than Germany, with Germany producing electricity on average today at 8 times the CO2/kWh of France. Thanks to nuclear power, France is not only 8 times better than Germany, but also 40 years earlier. The only German record is the high cost.

The official numbers reported by China are obviously way too small. For example, only 9 dead are reported for Beijing, a city of 20.5 million people. It's ridiculous to put the Chinese propaganda next to the real numbers of other countries.

Whenever the rest of the automobile industry decides to get serious, they will have to: build factory lines that can make electric cars; train their line workers to make electric cars; set up supply chains for the special parts and raw materials that an EV needs and an ICE car doesn't; train their service staff to fix the new cars; and above all: need a source of enough batteries to build all the cars, at a price upon which they can make a profit.

You seem to live in fantasy world where Tesla is the only EV maker and the others have to catch up. In reality, Tesla owns 28% of the world's fully electric vehicle sales, followed by VW, Nissan, BMW, and Hyundai. The others have had factory lines for years, they just didn't care as much about this market in the past because it's a small market and they make more profit with ICE cars.

Why do you think there are no updates in a BMW? I got a software update on my BMW X3 a month ago. The navigation software occasionally crashed before (three times in a year), so I asked for the update. The update process is complicated to do by yourself: you have to submit some lengthy vehicle code number to a website, then download a big file to a USB flash drive. But their download software sucks and the car didn't like my USB flash drive, so I went to the dealer and had them do it. No big deal as the next BMW service center is just 5min away. The next Tesla service center is very far away, there are only few. Some cities don't even have one. Of course Tesla must provide a different way for updates. What's the point about Tesla being better in software? I use my car's navigation software, and the radio, and MP3 player. That hasn't changed much in the past 10 years. I know there's some self-parking feature in my car that I haven't even bothered to try yet because I just don't care about those gimmicks.

In fact, it could create what the Germans called an "Economic Miracle" -- their own modern debt jubilee in 1948, the currency reform administered by the Allied Powers. Germany emerged as an almost debt-free country, with low costs of production that jump-started its modern economy...

well, then don't forget that the creditors of that eliminated government debt were mostly German private households and companies. Cash and savings accounts got converted with a ratio of 100 RM = 6.50 DM. Salaries and rent were converted 100RM=100DM. German private middle class households lost over 90% of their bank accounts and savings in that currency reform. (The later London debt agreement of 1953 was a 90% debt relief of the foreign debt to other nations. That volume was much smaller and didn't have as much impact on the already growing economy.)
