The most important acts of a civilization, be they atrocities against life or acts of compassion beyond understanding, are always done in the name of the greater good. And no one who acts in the name of the greater good believes they are wrong. That is why " right " and " wrong" are so often indistinguishable.

Not some abridged , chopped up version to suit the needs of a few people who have their own agendas. Are they so afraid of what they are doing that they have to hide it's enlightening words from it's own citizens ?

I for one don't worry about leaving a record of my life . The government has enough information on file of me and everyone else . So save your money for other things .
