John Mark currently works on probability-based methods applied to information security, automated diagnostic assistants and judgment-based forecasting. For 8 years previous he was a Research Scientist at Intel Labs. His field is probabilistic graphical models, and Bayesian methods in Machine Learning. His recent work has been in "Query-Based" Diagnostics, and "Confrontational Computing." He has worked on distributed anomaly detection for network security, and on selective test reduction for manufacturing.
