If someone makes a copy of a book and gives it to me, I am not the infringer. If I read the book and note how many times word X occurs near Y (and do some other fancy statistics), I am still not infringing. If I report these statistics or use them in an app, that too is not infringing. That seems pretty clear.
the thesis is from 2007, not 1977 (that is McGuire's **birth date**). Please don't add to the noise.
And McGuire discusses Todd Rider's **earlier** thesis.
probably not, given this is people who want to have and can have a fancy smart scale.
but the openei data you link to ends 6 years ago, and shows a clear
trend towards solar and wind beating even gas. It would be good
to see the data up to 2019
well, their 12th now so I rather doubt the veracity of your whole post
"Sure, tell me another one. When was the last time you were able to just outright spend 3X your annual gross income on your latest wish project?"
like when I bought my house -- do you think those wind turbines and batteries won't be worth anything?
well maybe, but this report's own data says that for men a drink a day *reduces* risk by about 5%
relax citizen, there is no need to show us your papers
Could we give ourselves FUR?
that is patently ridiculous - California is about 163K sq mi;
estimates of total area for solar production are less than 25K sq mi.
(and much of it could be rooftop with batteries in
the basement).
Why make up things like this? How does it help the
conversation?

is there an obligation to be "just" when fighting "injustice"?
not, you're just choosing the kind of injustice you *prefer*
love to hear more about this; citations please
I did not know any of these were actually in commercial
operation
don't see it in chrome either; in Canada FWIW
