They're not bad for me, and dear God can they finally understand some of my preferences? I seriously doubt it. I'm tired of seeing unrelated, garbage ads that I have zero interest in. I'm also tired of the hyperbole. Cookies are old as dirt and used for many legitimate, non-tracking reasons. It's so insane that people obsess over cookies just to get clicks. We have EU cookie policies (I mean GDPR) to thank. Facebook, Google, etc are all fine until the moment when we enshrine protections (I mean regulations) into law that keep out any hope of future competition. So yeah, go all the candidates that are clearly taking money from these firms to make sure the firms never worry about being second best.
