Our CIO (of a major University) is a "soft target" as evidenced by our recent multimillion dollar fiasco with IBM and Lotus Notes. arrrgggg. He'll buy most anything without asking any tech people for input. Unless it is for network testing. That's an unnecessary expense. as evidenced by our most recent purchase in 1999.... Yeah thinnet!

A few months ago, I got a certificate signed by a CA that is trusted by essentially all browsers. The cost was $15 per year. They even bothered to check that I had access to the admin's account on the server I was requesting the cert for. How is $15 per year too expensive for a small site or special project?
I got one also recently for $15/yr. Seems they raised the price to $79 for the basic 128 cert. That may keep kiddies away... Also my boss...

Check http://avsforum.com . There are many posts regarding HDTV. I do love mine! But location and personal finance can help make the decision. If you cannot get the UHF over-the-air broadcasts, all you could hope for at this time are HBO, Showtime and one other station on the Satellite systems...
