Came to the site from my rss reader to leave a comment on the war on legibility, to find ./ also uses the grey text on a light background so small I can't read it design I've come to loath, and increasing the font size to something legible breaks the site. Why are graphic designers waging this war against those of us without 20/20 vision? It's so frustrating and Google seems to be leading the charge! Just leaving this comment was an exercise in frustration that I don't plan to repeat. Might be time to drop ./ from my feed. Another one bites the dust.

I suspect another variable may be at play here: "Ambiguity Tolerance".

This Weissman Score may provide a great test to determine where someones tolerance for ambiguity is, based on how useful or useless they think a metric like this might be- but then, if the WS becomes useful for determining AT it will then become less useful for determining AT because it's perceived usefulness will have increased, which will then make it more useful... I think I feel my AT falling.

Well, in Canada, we have this: http://www.arcco.ca/ .
Artist-Run Centres support artists, in part, by paying artists fees, thus allowing them to explore approaches to creating cultural dialogue (of which "entertainment", with all it's loaded cultural assumptions, is a subset) that don't require a salable product (such as installations, performances or other non-permanent works). There are other approaches, this is just one that I'm directly familiar with.
