Congratulations Google on duping naive Windows users into downloading your spyware and setting it as their default browser, when they update Flash. How else do they become the number one browser? The differences between browsers are not enough for most people to care about. Firefox and Chrome both have plenty of extensions. One has a mission of privacy and open internet. One is a corporation whose stated mission is to steal your personal information

How hard would it be to build an application for mobile or computer that would allow a special doomsday password, that would wipe personal data, or any selected directories, while appearing to log in normally? You would be complying with a request to supply a password, but it would be the action of the Bund agent himself which destroyed the data, not yours.

By all means, go to an ophthalmologist/optometrist and get some "occupational lenses" designed for computer use. They give you a full field of vision. Staring through a single point in a lens will cause all kinds of eye problems. Ophthalmologists lump this under the heading "Computer vision syndrome," or CVS, and they don't have much interest in doing primary care. I went to several eye doctors, who told me I had no problem and not to worry, even though I was barely able to work more than a few hours a day. I researched occupational lenses on my own, went to the optometrist and asked for them. He said "the doctor and I both wear them and we love them." Thanks a bunch for making me find this out on my own! This made a huge difference for me, but it is not a license to abuse your eyes. Take frequent breaks. Use a hot compress on your eyes, or whatever else works. Your eyes are worth it.
