I find it offensive that this guy could form a company (Multiven), employ himself, and then file for an H-1B visa for himself. That is not supposed to be allowed under the enabling law. It appears to me that ICE caught on to this, and when they investigated Multiven, they found that he was in fact sponsoring himself -- which was the reason that all of his visas were revoked. That being said -- there is no doubt that Cisco is acting like a punk in this case -- somehow they found a useful idiot to perform for them, and they trumped up a bunch of civil charges.

I think it is wonderful that everyone has an idea of how to be more energy efficient. However, according to most analysts -- doing this in a northern area will not save that much energy because of the loss of heat in the winter. It definitely would work in the south -- heck, the south should use cisterns and white roofs like in Bermuda, so they can use the water from rain runoff also...

What makes you think that indentured servants are going to spend their money here? There is ample evidence to show that H1B holders have a tendency to live together to save expenses, and repatriate most of their earnings to accounts and family in their home country. Even worse, there have been cases filed against TCS, where it has been shown that TCS requires the remittance of Income Tax refunds from the US, further reducing the spendable income that imported labor has at their disposal. So importing more workers, and reducing the wages of Americans will more than likely not increase the tax revenues or improve the economy...
