Give up the wounded artist act for crissake! Go buy a Naxos classical music CD for $5.95. I'm presuming Planet Music is not losing money on this, so this represents about what it costs to record, manufacture, distribute and market a CD. Beethoven's dead, so the songwriter doesn't get any royalty. Add another dollar for his (her) royalty, and $6.95 is what a CD should sell for with a little profit for everyone along the way. Everytime I pay ^h^h^h paid $16.95 for a CD, I knew that the extra $10 was going straight into someone's pocket as pure profit. I was getting ripped off for years for more than half the retail price of a CD. I was mad as hell, but I don't have to take it anymore.
