I set up friends and relatives on local accounts. One of them was going to pay the $30 instead of upgrade (6th gen i5). He mostly just uses Libreoffice, a scanner, and email. I should offer to support him on Linux for $25.
Asif anyone in their right mind would use a format with that acronym.
Made the switch when the Macos install got severely borked. Almost certainly something I did, but multiple recovery attempts failed and I wasn't interested in paying some genius-in-name-only too much money to fix what I barely had a use for to begin with.
As I recall it was the caustic opinions on the questions asked that drove people away.
How do you take a criminal seriously if their name comes from one of the later cash-grab Toy Story movies?
Just ask lawmakers if they would be comfortable with the police having a skeleton key to unlock every door in their neighborhood that criminals know the cops are carrying.
I could justify $50 for a dumbphone with great call quality, but not north of $300. And calling it distration-free while putting any games on it seems like a misnomer.

My eyes can't roll hard enough or far enough back at this statement alone.
Seriously, I'm not seeing anything really interesting or original coming from Netflix at this point. Most of what they put out is just formulaic mass market crap lately. Anything they're licensing will be available on other services eventually. The cutting edge days of Netflix are behind them. They aren't taking the risks they used to. Now they just blow the production budget on big name stars, maybe the SFX, and hope nobody notices they skimped on the writing again.
The tuition is free. The room, board, books, etc. will probably still require selling a kidney or two.
I would bet the increase in percent of graduates without job offers will grow until it matches the percentage of graduates who aren't from influential families.
I made the same mistake. Terrible UI choice. Give FalcDot all the points.
AM Stereo was a thing at one point. If we're going to mandate including AM radios, can we mandate making them better while we're at it.
Had an ARM Surface a few months back. Mostly worked, but was missing some very important software I needed for work. Whatever they tried to do for x86 compatibility just wasn't cutting it. Plus there were no plans for making ARM versions of the software I needed.
Logic is a pretty flower that smells bad.
