.....having to be the voice of reason. I think it makes me seem un-cooperative in a room full of people holding pitchforks.

I hate it when slashdot posters write something like...:
'OK, time to mod me down', or 'This is total flamebait, waiting to get modded down'

....at the end of their posts and then moderators automatically mod them up.

Slashdotters: If you think you might get modded down because your comment is lame.....don't comment.

Moderators: Don'd mod somebody up just because you want to make someone feel better about their lame post.
