In India banks have to do all due diligence before money is sent out,once sent they cannot claw back unless they have a cout order... All this due diligence has to be done within that few hours...

Same here but the banks are able to speak to each other and actually make sure the money is there within 6 hours between any banks/branches within the country

UK already has a HVDC line to main land Europe and is very success..
