unfortunately, Matrox does not released specs
for all parts of their G200/G400/G450 boards.
I had to hack dualhead support for Linux
matroxfb myself without any doc available from
them. Not talking about that they DO NOT release
which memory types they connect to on-shop
devices, how fast are these cores and memories
and so on.
And BTW, I asked for engineering sample of G450
more than 2 months ago, but they even did not
bother with reply that they'll not send it to
me. Just plain silence.
And BTW#2, I do not think that mgaHALlib.a has
something to do with open source. Not even
saying that my PowerPC does not believe that
i386 code is appropriate...
