... moonshot?

Thank you for your post. After many years of lurking in the background and reading Slashdot posts and linked articles, I finally got around to registering an account so that I could express these thoughts which you have much more eloquently expressed. The parallels of communism -- and perhaps the new "democratic socialism" -- and Agile are uncanny with regards to the hopeful potential (packaged solutions for sale), the promises (enticement and hook), the expectations (leadership doing more with less) and the eventual outcomes (disappointment and vitriol).
