cheaper power has not eventuated in any place where there has been a large scale shift to renewables. because renewables donâ(TM)t cut it in the early evening so you have to either buy imminently expensive storage or fossil fuel capacity to make up the short fall. i live in a jurisdiction that did this conversion and the power price has more than doubled and we have to import power now.

every other country in the world use celsius apart from two third world countries (you could say only three use the archaic scale if you project that the US will turn into a third country soon ).

they have obd connectors (law requires it) and they do have hacked obd connectors that enable some features.

They can. Many new planes can now fly autonomous. Qantas has done at least one complete flight.
