Last moring 8/24/06 on the way to work I could not find a good station to listen to. So I listened to npr instead. They were talking about Urban dictionary.
OK so this evening after my workout I added my entry on Aolers.

AOLer
1.)People for which seem to exist to torment helpdesk personnel...

2.)AN extremely ignorant person who lacks the ability to poor urine from a boot with the instructions on the heel.

3.)An extremely ignorant person who has no concept of birth control, turn signals on suvs , how to use a cell phone , or drive. Most of which herd together to form a loose collective of babbling idiots. Most of which work from 9am to 5p breed , sleep watch the same repetitive shows on television and fart out one kid after another. They barely know how to use a cell phone , or drive. they seem to herd together to form a loose collective of zombie-like humans. Who's function seems to be to miss-spell every word in the English language , rant about issues that they are at fault for and cause help desk employees to have cardiac arrest, stroke, commit suicide or go postal in a fit of psychotic rage.

4.) A person who thinks that they are not on the Internet if they don't log in to Aol.

5.) People for which windows does not seem to have a start button, know what a program is, don't know that windows M.E. is obsolete, don't use a nic card in their obsolete computer and insist on using usb instead .People who unfortunately breed quite a bit but have a very low intellect. And are in fact the major contributing factor to the coming cataclysmic end of the human race.

6.) A person who thinks they are genius, Yet who's stupidity defies all reason or logic.

Aolers are often referred to in such manner as: , bottom feeding dredge fish
One who looses IQ point when they got to waste extraction, a plague to be exterminated...

The best example of an Aoler is seen during mid-day. One should observe them driving enourmous land vehicles that pollute the atmosphere. They can be seen trying to drive and use their cell phones- unsuccessfully And their screaming mutant children can be heard in most good restaurants or their unsanitary larva stage mutants can be seen in shopping carts near the meat section with a smelly diaper and a fly buzzing around the said mutant's diaper. One should be careful when discussing computers in casual conversation around them as they all have issues with their computers they need assistance with and in all likelihood if they were to over-hear you discussing computers they would probably swarm you as you are the only one who might know how to fix their damaged machines.

Today on slash dot I read more and more companies are doing credit checks as a qualification to higher a candidate for a Job. I read that people have been turned down.
Because of issues such as student loans and what not.

How wrong is that? Let see. You take a person who has been the victims of identity theft or is just starting out in life and you put this kind of barrier in front of them and how far are they going to get? You have prevented that person from improving his or her situation you have effectively said to them "have to pay all your bills before we let you out " you are making them prisoners. You are rejecting their goal to get out of debt and you are in fact creating more debt as a result of your illogical decision to discriminate based on financial issues.

You (companies that support this kind of policy )and others like you wonder why there is crime? Why things are the way they are.
Well I say that putting ones credit on trial is a form of exclusion. A way to create a criminal. A person trying to get on top of his or her debt is being forced to take low paying jobs despite that they have the capacity for far greater things....Are those who disqualify people based on their credit not responsible in the least?

Who is the bigger criminal? Those who enforce this kind of policy or those who are the victim of this form of discrimination and commit crimes because they have no other recourse? Is it that we had to replace race sex and creed with yet a better way to segregate people. Credit....Which is bigotry my friends.

Example: Someone living in the ghetto that is poor might be able to rise up from their debt if you would give them a chance. Instead you choose to keep the poor where they are and only higher the middle class. And leave the poor in the ghetto. Women , blacks people and the poor are victims of this kind of policy and it puts any company that upholds this kind of policy in the ranks of similar organizations such as the KKK.

I for one have been the victim of this kind of bigotry. And I will advise any company that wants to check my credit history that this is not allowed by me. My personal finances are my concern and have nothing to do with my work habits.

If crime has increased. If there are more desperate people on the streets and if drugs and poverty are everywhere. Then stop and think about the contributing factors. One of theme is this 'credit check before higher procedure'. It is not the main reason but it is a majority reason. And is further proof that bigotry is not dead!!!.
The majority of people who are poor are in debt. They are in debt because of employment availability to them... The ghetto is full of people who if given the chance to rise up and be somebody they would do great things. Yet this is a way of creating the 'haves and the have not's'. This is a way to pick though someone's personal issues and pry. To segregate and exclude. Everything that great men such as Martin Luther And John Lennon have fought for is being rejected here and we are seeing a trickle down theory in practice...Crumbs to the poor...Keep the poor where they belong beneath the rich....Amazing at how many Doctors out there have student loans they have not paid. Yet they seem immune to this kind of bigotry. Intolerance will be the end of us all.
There are a great many wrong things in this country. We have to ask ourselves what is coming next...
What other doors does this open? I say that there is growing unrest in this country amongst people who have neen wronged. I say that people like Barbara Bush who would say nasty things about people who were victoms of hurrican Katrina and talk down to them like they were derelect. Are going to regret their words and actions.
Think about it.

My friend Sheri and I Recently interviewed with I B M here in Dallas... Stream was in the process of dumping their call center here in Dallas for the 2nd time I understand (but they are retaining there Canadian call centers) after only 6 months and so rather than get on unemployment it was off to the interviews.

          One of our first interviews during all this was with I B M. Our appointments were 1 and 1:30pm.

          We showed up and waited a good 2 hours before anyone talked to us. - one the workers bees (mentors)in an awful leopard skirt that made her look out of shape. immediately threw a waiver and an application at us. It was the waiver that got my attention.

          The waiver wanted you to agree to pay $2000 if you leave the company before 6 months and $1000 if you leave before 1 year. Now I would not have that much of a problem with this except that they want to pay you $10 per hour. Well I am not about to go into indentured servitude for $10 /hr. So I asked to talk to the person in charge there who we were supposed to interview with ..., but who wound up having us interview with someone else- a mentor on her team-... I was told. She is busy on a conference call. I asked then that she make an exception since we waited so long before anyone interviewed with us. I said "certainly she could spare 5 minutes of her time for us since we had waiting 2 hours before our anyone came to talk to us. Our appoints were at 1pm and 1;30 pm and we were left to wait. We both were patient. Surely you can reciprocate ? " The mentor asker her apparently, and the answer was no. So I proceeded to ask the mentor about more pay vs. that disclaimer...

      He of course could do nothing and it was my plan to get (we like to call her queen bee. Because she was in this glass box in and at the center of a square of several cubicles and she seemed to have this attitude like she was the all around boss, She really didn't seem that busy to us either...)

      Queen bee to come out of her hive after about 2 minutes of me asking this mentor about those two paragraphs and what not. She got off her stinger and came to talk to us...She said " he has to get back on the phone. A job offer has not be made yet." And then she walked us out of the building... Oh darn I made the queen bee angry.! So we agreed we would call back and set up the 2nd interview ,but really not in this life time.

Now as for waiting 2 hours. I could understand if they were real busy or if they had a lot of people to interview. We were the only two people there.

          What concerns me is how this could become a trend. What if more companies did this? I B M was concerned about training cost or so they said.... I have a friend of a friend who works there and what I got back was this... I asked too many questions and they of course are not looking for that. They are looking for sheeple not techs. The older worker bee in the awful leapard skin skirt was in a buzz about my blue tooth ear piece. My friend said to me " she said you were on the phone because the led was flashing..." that was surprising dumb I thought. I would think that an I B M mentor would know that just because the led is blinking does not mean I am on the phone. And that building seemed to be shielded from rf because I could not even get a signal.

  I suppose it would make the queen bee's stinger twitch if she knew that I recently got an I. T. Job making a hell of a lot more with out having to sign a disclaimer. And I don't have to work in the morning.

Ok why the fiero speedometer you ask? well first - the thing works differently than other speedometers...
let me explain. The Fiero speedometer is fed by the VSS sensor, this is mounted on the transaxle. This sensor produces an output whenever the rear wheels turn, no matter in which direction driving backwards will not make a difference- This output is a sine wave which is converted into a sqaurewave and apparently fed into the speedometer...Strange? yep, ok now the speedometer itself uses electromagnets on the left and right and it basicaly points to the strongest electromagnet... to put it bluntly the system uses a comparator ideal behind determinining your speed and is better than the old way of using a mechanism. Problem is that for some reason pontiac uses bad and I mean bad parts in their fieros. Like using 3rd rate parts and in my experience I have found that the magnets in the speedometers wear out and basicaly it points to the magnet that is the strongest and so you have no choice but to either replace the speedometer or if you can repair the board.

Your basic comparator is a simple circuit. Cosider if you will the threshold detector. If we use and opperational amplifier...lets say the signetics 741 op amp and configuer the bias on the inverting imputs to +5 and negative 5 volts respectively then we have effectively set up a simple thershold detecting device. Quite usefull when you want to work within a range rather than turn something on like in the case of say a nand gate...see what seems to fool most people on the diagnostic on these is that they think they can simply replace the cable as is the case in most car...however there fiero use and electronic speedometer. and as I understand it the ecm in the cars mounted just behind the small glove compartment converts the signal to voltages needed to be displayed on the speedometer.
WHat does this mean? lots...First. We know that the ecm on this model of gm is EASILY accessible via computer serial connection and that there is a lot of software out there that can read the information...We also know that we can access other information- Tach, oil etc...
Knowing all this then we know that making the car go completely digital is now possible and alot easier since unlike cars that use a mechanic speedometer converting to digital is far more difficult. Now From what I understand Fieros were some of the first cars to do this...

  My goal is to make a digital dash in my fiero with a hud since they look really cool and I may tap in to the ecm with a lap top...all of this should I keep the car. I say this because these are not good cars for women since they are only two seaters...

Ok I have a tmobile xda smart phone and I have been loosing memory like you would not believe! now I did all the standard things- tried to find temp internet files and delete them and what not but my temporary internet folder was empty. Strange...I thought...How can this thing be loosing mem? something was eating it and I was going to get to the bottom of it. turns out that the temp internet files are under windows/profiles/guest/temporary inter...
delete everything except index and clear cookies folder basically same as clearing out everything like windows I.E.

Ok this is a technique I came up with some time ago to fix issues that require tiny metal traces that have either been lifted or broken... There is a substance call conductive ink. You can get it from the local autoparts dealer or even buy the circuit works pen on line. With that pen I could draw a circuit trace and make a circuit on a paper cup! If you cant get the pen rear winshield defogger repair fluid works as it is conductive ink. Recently a friend of mine called me for advice on how to fix the back lit dash in this ferrari. I told him how to take a tooth pick and re-draw the line and then cover it with clear finger nail polish. THis worked well and save the owner of the car about $500 the friend told me.

Can someone please explain to me how it is that I work in It and assist people setting up the internet Most of which are Doctors and highly educated people... How is it that they cant read and follow simple directions? why do they call me if they are so educated? and do you want a doctor who can not read direction on setting up something as simple as a mac for internet practicing medicine on you?

Ok here is a funny

  For some time this year and last year I have been getting just a butt load of calls to my cell for a radio station Kluv for their contest what not....

  Well I was getting tired of getting one call after another...
So I started working for them in a matter of speaking...

    When they called me for almost a solid weak I would tell everyone the station was "on automatic because the Dj has herpes and a cold..."

Well this seemed to slow traffic to my phone down quit a bit...

  They still persisted though so I advised each and every caller we were switching over to country or rap or something like that!
  It seemed to upset them a scad...

Finally I kept getting one call after another "what caller am I" I would reply "7 sorry" then "255" then "6280" I would increase the numbers each time..which seemed to irritate people...one lady asked me "how can I win like that" I replied "well first when you dial try to get the right number and 2nd dont use the phone when you are smoking a crack pipe"
This seemed to make her mad in which case I expressed my total and complete lack of carring...

Well in the end I was in a resturant so I looked up Kluvs number and asked them to change their phone # ...they said they would not do that and there was nothing I could do...So I advised them that evertime someone calls I will say something nasty... that seemed to help them get motivated and I have not recieve a single call for that radio station in almost a week now...

How I hate morons who have these really bright lights on their cars and run brights right up behind you on the interstate...
    Years ago when I drove a pick up I would often get harassed by these idiots...
    So I got a great big halogen lamp for outside use and wired it in to my truck- I connected it to the back to where the light is right on top of the roof and rest there aimed like the brights are...

    The key to making this work is a suficient power inverter... By the way...

  So Im rolling down the road and this idiot flashes me with is brights comming the other way...
So I turned on my brights and flashed him...
  he turned his on and left them on comming right at me the other way...
  Well I turn on the halogen and lit up the the entire 4 lane for quit a ways...
  this suffiently seem to make this person realize the gravity of their mistake and they shut down their brights...

How I hate front wheel drive!!!!!!

Ok you know when the boot cracks open on front...
did you know that there is a boot you can buy that will wrap around where the old boot was and you can use a zip strip to teporarily make a fix?

Well I did this for a solid month!
  before replacing the axel...

The temp boot is available at the local auto store-its call a split boot
  get metal zip stips or you can use heavy duty wire ties...
  Keep in mind this is a dangerous fix! its temporary till you can afford to fix it. Now you have to load the bearing with grease so get a big tub of it and force it in the bearings....
close the boot tight and then zip strip it on tight!

The following is a problem I wrestled with for some time...My car just would not run not matter what I did. I went to numerous mechanics who thought it was everything from the catalytic converter to the timming chain... well they were all 100% wrong. My car ran like it was running on 2 cyclinders- the lock up solenoid would stick and it was stall everywhere...
    I didnt know what was wrong...
I tried searching the web, and fiero books- (there were not many!) Information on my car was scarce! ONe idiot in cannada thought it was the electrolyte level in the coolant...and still another thought it was the idle speed controller!
what idiots!
    I figuered this thing out and it was a tough puzzle...

Ok this is a simple solution for the fiero ignition system that alot of people have had issue with...

    Ok your car starts running like its running on 2 cylinders...Guess what it is.
    The fiero ignition modual and coil packs are located on the engine near the back where the trunck is...
  find the coil packs and remove them
remove the ignition modual- becarefull not to break the tiny little connector that connects the tach.

    Notice how the Ignition modual has a plastic protrusion on it.. that is the crank sensor. Ther fier does not use a distributer! THe crank shaft has a magnet on it instread...
  now regarless if you think those coil packs are good throw them out and the ignition modual too!
  get newparts from your local dealer and replace...
  Connect the plugs to the coil packs and fire it up..the car will run good!
  it is a good idea to replace the plugs in the fiero after doing this...and always remember to disconect the battery...
