Bentley has been a long time supporter of the ODA! Does this have anything to do with key Bentley developer Dr. Robert Aish leaving to join Autodesk? It wasn't long ago that Bentley and Autodesk were huge rivals: http://worldcadaccess.typepad.com/blog/2005/10/sting_bentley_b.html A recent NIST survey calculated 16 Billion wasted annually because of lack of AEC software interoperability.
