In all fairness, anyone that downloads music illegally will have the belief "it wouldn't ever happen to me". The RIAA needs to make an example of extreme cases that puts fear into the other illegal uses of p2p. If she didn't want to get caught, she shouldn't have downloaded illegally, and that makes sense since in the end, it is the law. I feel bad for the student, and I don't support these extreme cases, but if anyone is going to download music illegally, they have to be willing to accept the penalties.

This is kind of awkward. I've seen strange stuff on Ebay ranging from people selling their virginity to bidding for a beatdown, but this is still up there for two personal reasons: 1. Why did Discreet release their developers at an era where CG is starting its peak in the mainstream audience? 2. This is interesting. Just today i got an emailvia through my University portal system at New School University. Apparently, this email was trying to sell me clothes and fashion products at a discount, and at the bottom said, "(This message is associated with PSD/Parsons Student Link)" This really annoys me because now i believe my school is selling student email addresses to companies. Is this something new? Is there some kind of privacy violation or breach of confidentiality which reserves
