Journal tuxette's Journal: hmm... 13

I hope all you USAians enjoy living under some paranoid, hateful, money-hungry Christian fundamentalist nutcase and his cronies (unless you're a hateful, bigoted, bible-thumper yourself, then you'll probably enjoy lynching gays and forcing women to breed against their will). I just hope he doesn't strip away all your freedoms and rights; this especially for women, homosexuals, non-whites, and non-Christians. I'm just glad I'm not there to be forced to live under the oppression.

    • How amusing. I don't know if I should laugh, or cry, or both. What do you think?

My voting right is in New York state and Kerry (not that he's any good either but at least he's not the Christian equivalent of Osama bin Laden) won, as expected. So my vote for Nader doesn't count for twat.

      • Personally, I'd cry. If this is how elections are going to be run from now on (anything faintly close resulting in a legal tempest) then the whole concept of the democratic repbulic will quickly swirl down the toilet.

The sad part is I really don't see that Sen. Kerry has a chance here. There's a type of ballot (forgot the name of it) that has to be verified to not be fraudulent (small amount) and Pres. Bush's margin is greater that the number of those ballots. There was talk on ABC last night that Sen.

        • And having just reviewed the Electoral map at ABC I don't think Sen. Kerry really has a chance. Pres. Bush needs any 2 of the remaining 4 states, or just Ohio. Sen. Kerry would need Ohio and either Iowa or Wisconsen. New Mexico won't cut it for him. Even takeing NM, IA, and WS won't do it if Pres. Bush gets OH. That would leave Sen. Kerry with 264 Electoral votes, not enough.
  • Doesn't look too good, does it?

It's kind of sad that fear was the winning ticket in these elections. From what I've seen and heard in random interviews, George W Bush was simply seen by the masses as someone "who will keep America safe".

My prediction is that the world will endure four more years of idiocy, arrogance and unwarranted bloodshed and quite frankly I don't want to think about how badly things will deteriorate within USA itself. It almost defies belief how much the first four years of Bush rul

Why do we want intelligent terminals when there are so many stupid users?
